Cora O'Dell's Summary
Cora has been an artist for over 10 years. She is experienced with both wet and dry mediums, painting and drawing. She is quite crafty as well and has also tried her hand at building her own stretchers and canvases on which to paint. Cora attended Harrisburg Community College for Fine Art, taking as many different art courses as she could, and her artwork was featured and awarded in a student art show.
She believes that learning to create from both observation as well as imagination is important and encourages students to learn both skills. In lessons, Cora teaches various techniques and styles, as well as color theory and a little art history. She teaches both classes and private lessons, in a variety of mediums, to all ages and levels of skill with no previous experience necessary. Students will leave each lesson or class with their own artwork to take home as well as the knowledge and skills to create more on their own.
