Camela Widad Kraemer's Summary

Camela Widad Kraemer is a folk rock musician, singer, songwriter, personal development teacher, mother & voice coach. She maintains a busy concert schedule in addition to vocal coaching. She has been singing since the age of 5, got lucky with spot on training from middle school & high school chorus teachers but did not take formal coaching until she was in college.

When she was cast in an Outdoor Drama with no microphones where actors notoriously lost their voices, she decided to study with the voice pathology department before heading off for the summer and found that our speaking voice can actually create major problems for our singing voice. Without losing her voice that summer, she went on to train for one year with opera trained singers continuing to improve her voice.

Camela now works with a training that honors the physiology of the voice creating less tension, safe signing as well as speech and the ability to sing just about any style. Her goal is to support each singer to find their voice, their confidence and share their gifts with the world. She's proud to join the team offering vocal coaching at the Perfect 5th Music Center in Mechanicsburg, PA.
